| Been lurking on here for a lil bit, thought i'd jump in. I've got an '09 yamaha majesty and a' 05 kawasaki vulcan 750. What i'd like to do would be to sell both and just get down to one ride. The problem is , that the vulcan us what i normally take on vacation, setup for pulling my lil trailer. I'm just a lil leary of pulling with a belt drive. I like the majesty, unfortunately my girlfriend has short legs and isn't very comfortable with the foot pegs, plus with the maj's wide rear-end ,we don't need to make her __ look any bigger do we. I've thought and looked at the 650 burgman , while i do like the amount of under seat storage, the whole bike seemed to big for me. 5'5" , 155lbs. Thought about a T-max, like the bigger tires but i don't know about towing. Which brings me here. Any comments are welcome and i understand that the advise is worth exactly what i pay for it. thanks |

| Welcome to the site. Where are you from in Central Illinois? I lived in Champaign for over 20 years. I also had the Majesty and then went to the Silverwing and really like it. It has plenty of power and speed and a lot of comfort.
You can get a hitch and pull a trailer with the SWing and many do it. The performance is probably somewhat similar to your Vulcan too. I have had my SWing to 104 mph per gps and it was a smooth ride too. My wife also thinks the SWing is more comfortable than the Majesty for riding. She didn't really care for the footboards of the Majesty and really likes the pegs so much better. I wouldn't worry about the belt when pulling a trailer either. I'm not sure how much your trailer weighs but the SWing is very capable.
There is a professor of a school for the deaf, in Florida, that took his SWing complete with his trailer from Florida to Alaska on 4 different occasions and had no trouble whatsoever. There is a lot of good info here too. So welcome. |

| Hello and Welcome,
Check your inside seam. I'm 29" and the Silverwing is okay (just) for me.
As it sounds as you will be doing quite a bit of 'two up' riding then having the ability to put both feet firmly on the ground is an important factor. I think you will find the Honda bikes in general have a high seat height. Having said that the Silverwing is a great scooter. Hope you find what you are looking for. Cheers, |

| Thanks,KurtPerth. That's a nice program that someone made, also tells what the passenger is doing as well. Though, i don't understand why a message keeps blippin' on the screen sayin' " we recommend a '64 ford falcon". I need to look on the parts fiche to see if the handlebars can be moved up a skoshe. Thanks, again |
