| Well, I was fortunate. Givi sent me one when I was the owner of this site to do a Review of it. And I did a pretty lengthy one here. But i'm not sure who is selling them now. I know I used to get a lot of stuff from scootertrap before the closed. Good luck and let us know and I'm sure others will chime in on where they bought theirs. |

| I got my AF214 from David Sparrow who goes by the name of kiwi dave on the Burgman forum. He has your Givi products delivered to your home with free delivery right from Givi. When I asked about price his reply was-"The whole reason that I am about is to save as much money as I can for fellow scooter riders as I was sick of being ripped off." I have delt with him a few times and always been happy with my order. He does not list Silverwing products, but just email him what you want(anything Givi) and he will get back to you with a price. I always prefer to deal with a small business if at all possible. Here is his web site have a look. https://sites.google.com/site/suzukiburgmansidecaseracks/home |

| I got mine from Bykebitz too, and the two replacement top screens I've had since. Within half a minute of doing a Search I chose a site at random in the US which is knocking out the Airflow for $253.00 which is better than $278.67, and there's plenty more to go at. So I'd say there's plenty of of suppliers out there. |

But I have time, since I am waiting to find out of I am going to get furloughed here at work - if so, won't be adding any new farkles until that's over. |

| The one I got from Kiwi dave cost me $230 with free shipping. So the one that jdeereanton posted for $227 is cheapest. I got mine Jully 2012 the price may have changed by now. I still will bye my Givi stuf from him as I said I prefer to deal with a small business if at all possible and he did me right the last time. At that time the lowest price I could was $279 so I was happy. |

| I had ordered mine from a company called Cli-max last July. At the time it was $215 with $12 shipping on top of it. Now it's displayed at $227.35 with free shipping. http://www.cli-maxridinggear.com/servlet/the-4204/Givi-Airflow-AF214-Windshield/Detail
I am very appreciative of Cli-max in my case. They had one in stock but was reserved for another customer, and they initially told me it would take 2 weeks to receive another one, plus the shipping time to me (since they said they couldn't drop-ship it from their distributor). i told them that I would be going on a 1000 mile ride within 2 weeks and would really like to have it for my trip. They actually sent me the one they had on hand and made the other customer wait, and I had it in time for my trip!

| Thank you for this thread. My Google-Fu was weak this evening and I was only seeing it for $258+. This thread just saved me at least $30.
I was going to hold off on the windshield, but I went on a 30-mile ride today and got a lot of turbulence on my helmet from the stock shield. I'm planning a 450-mile round trip (225 miles each way with 4 days camping in between) next month, and a better shield will help a lot with that. |

| Ordered one from Sport Tour on Wednesday, was informed yesterday that it was on back order. Bike is torn down anyway (wiring front lights for Dennis B bracket, new tires front and rear, oil and filter change, hard wiring for my GPS, adding 12volt power supply in front pocket, Kuryakyn battery gauge and adding more lights to the rear) so no big rush. Whole bike should be ready by next week when they said the w/s should arrive. Can't wait. |

| Thank you for the information guys.
I decided on buying the Givi AF-214 after reading every thing there was to read on this site.
I am 6'2 and use a pad under my but on linger rides so I hope this will be the right decision.
I bought it from the guy that was recommended here that sells parts for Burgman an goes by the name David Sparrow. (Kiwi Dave)
I paid $ 220.00. A fantastic price, after looking at many other places on the internet.
Thanks again to all that contribute to this forum and I will update after the instillation and a ride or two. |

| Well if you are searching for robust taller and wider screen I would say go for Isotta screen. It is much better than Givi.
You can find it here http://www.euronetbike.net/is-sc2614.html
Another option is Secdem too http://www.euronetbike.net/sec-bh107hp-47132.html |

| I can't say anything about the two screens you prefer as I have never used ether. But if you have used all three, can you tell us the difference between the three? Information is knowledge. I do know I am very happy with the Givi AF214 but would like to know what I may be missing. I do know I will not use a windshield I have to look threw. Not saying you need look threw ether of the two you advise as I said I have never used them. |

| Isotta screen for this bike is the tallest and widest which protects you from air buffeting and your shoulders too. I think it will be the best for you! |

| Well just a few comparatives.
Givi Airflow AF214 screen | Isotta SC2614 Height 57 cm (12 cm of extension)| 64.5 cm w/o extension Width 59 cm | 60 cm Hands protection Not fully covered | Full covered Price (without shipping) 227$ (if lucky) | 136$ Good points Removable Extension | No air buffeting even for the pillion person
There are other things to mention like in rainy and cold weather Isotta screen protects you from becoming wet and your hands do not need to have hand protectors. Givi screen is better from the stock but still doesn't do a good work on rainy weather.

| Really, are you basing that claim on experience? I have an Airflow fitted and I posted on here last year after I rode over 300 miles of mainly autobahn in heavy rain from Germany back to Holland with only a rain jacket over my summer gear. I stayed dry and was really impressed by it's weather protection at speed. I didn't even bother wearing rain gloves as the lower sides of Airflow kept my summer gloves dry too, so even though I've had problems with my Airflow I don't feel any need to change.
I like look of the Isotta screen, it's good looking and I maybe would have bought one if I hadn't ordered the Airflow. The one piece Givi screen is too tall for some riders and has to be cut down, and it's likely for some the one piece Isotta will be too.
You're saying your screen is better but Givi screens are widely available in the UK from bike dealers or online and they advertise their products in UK bike mags. Isotta products are virtually unknown here in the UK so you can't really criticise us for choosing Givi. I've never seen the Isotta Silver Wing screen in the catalogues or stores of Hein Gericke, Louis, or Polo in Germany either.
The Isotta handguards look pretty useful too, I'd consider buying a pair to supplement the Airflow if you can guarantee that when fitted they won't hit the sides of the Airfow when the handlebars are on full lock. But as they inevitably will hit the sides of the Airflow and reduce steering lock you've lost me as a potential customer for them too. |

| I found the Givi adjustable to provide good protection, much less buffeting and better hand protection than the OEM unit by far. Last winter wearing my electrically heated Gerbings gloves I had to turn the heat control fully on and still had cooler hands than I wanted when riding in the cold with the stock windshield. With the Givi adjustable in similar temps I could run the heat control at 50% and be comfortable. The Givi adjustable shield in my opinion is the most useful modification I can think of for a Silverwing. |

For the Givi screen we have a lot posts. Of course we have a lot of posts for the Givi screen, they were written by the members of this forum who are generally happy with the Airflow. My issues with losing two Airflow top sections are well documented in the posts. There's also a wealth of info and pictorials on fitting the Airflow that we've all found useful. You mention Secdem screens, I fitted a taller Secdem screen to my 650 Burgman because the OE screen was too low on it's highest setting, and the Givi screen was way too high on it's lowest setting. The Secdem although useful was no wider than the stock Burgman screen, and unlike the Givi offered no hand protection. |

| Are you offering alternative screens for free trials? I for one can't afford to buy something on spec especially as the adjustable Givi is 'one size fits all' unlike non-adjustables which often seem to have to be cut down.
I'd be happy to receive a free sample but realistically one has to plump for one and stay with it. |

Got mine at cli-maxridinggear.com a couple of years ago. They had the best price I could find and took about a week for me to get it. I needed to CALL THEM to get a price AND then they had to order it in - took a couple of days longer - but I was OK with that. I would recommend Cli-Max as they have always been good on what I have ordered in the past. |
