| I to have a rattle and buzz at the front (and a nasty NOISE when nosediving the many potholes here), after looking under the front infill panel it turns out the Tupperware is all cracked and that causes the windshield to vibrate. When I get some time I will attempt to repair it, it looks like loads of lugs have broken off too. I have only had the scoot 3 months and don't know if it was the last rider or what caused the damage. Apart from that I love it |

| Thanks for the reply. I didn't think it was cable. But to ask. Must be the tupper ware.I'll look for loose fitting panels. Thanks again. |

| Just passed 10 K on my 2nd Silverwing. Have a speedo question. Odometer works fine, & but ... both trip odometers & the clock All reset when i turn off the ignition. Speed ometer & engine temp gauges both work fine. it's a minor inconvenience, but was wondering if any of y'all had any experience with this. ThanX & Blessings. Stay SAFE out there. |

| Here we go again, someone who's on his second Silver Wing and only now decides to join a Silver Wing forum because it's the obvious place to come for free info. Doing an Introduction first is obviously a minor inconvenience too. |

| Jimparker,
Take the scooter to your dealer and ask them to fix it for free. (But introduce yourself to them before you ask!) |

Sounds like someone pulled the fuse to keep the under seat light from coming on. The fuse also keeps the memory for the clock and trip odometer. |

| Why would anyone pull the fuse when you can just remove the bulb ( Lamp) from the underseat light ? |

| rvinman , You might be right
I guess someone might have pulled the fuse trying to track down an electrical fault not realizing the implications |
