| From a dealer so there's 6.5% sales tax plus the usual bs fees etc. so probably about $8250 OTD. Full warranty AFAIK. Presuming full warranty how does that sound? I thought about going in and offering $8k OTD. |

| It is a two year old scoot (even if still new). I would offer $7500 OTD and start from there. |

| My 2011, new in the box was 7900$ OTD Tax here is near 9% and Az Lic was a few bucks. I didn't pay a doc at this dealer. Your 12 sounds all right. Yes to full warranty too. |

| I just purchased a new 2012 ABS Silverwing that's never been off the showroom floor at a local Honda dealer for $6899 (not including the 7% state sales tax, etc., there were no dest or prep fees, just the title fee, and mandatory state $50 trauma fee, so the deal was pretty clean and devoid of all those extra fees some dealers seem to love to tack on) and went ahead and got three years of additional Honda warranty for $450 (total of 4 years warranty). I wasn't really looking to buy, but I just couldn't pass it up for that price. The dealer has done some consolidation lately and seemed to be hurting to sell off some of the old showroom stock. I pick it up the Saturday after this coming one, on June 7th. I've never owned a Silverwing before, but I do have a 2010 SH150i I got from the same dealer and a 2013 Kymco Downtown 300 I bought elsewhere (wouldn't have bought the Downtown if I'd known this deal on the SWing was going to appear, but the Kymco does get between 70 and 75MPG). They hinted at me trading in the SH150i, but there's no way, it's a great little scoot to just jump on for errands and it gets 80+ MPG. Different uses.
The SWing has the same tire sizes as the Kymco Downtown, and I've been happy with the Michelin Powerpure SCs on that, so once the IRCs wear out, I may give the SCs a try on the SWing as well. I have about 5K miles each on the SH150 and the DT300. |

| good price-----I would have saved money on the longer warranty.....as they usually don't pay out well, most trouble areas end up being "wear" items---ride it. |

| That is a good price for a new Swing. They didn't chance much at all between the years. |

| I think 11s 12s and 13s are all ABS. No non abs option available in those years. |

So doubt you will need the Michelins anytime soon unless you REALLY put on the miles! Congrats on your new Silver Wing! |
