| I'm sure there are others here who have installed the Biker's Friend bag. I received mine today and am having a heck of a time finding an easy and sensible way to attach.
Any tips and pics from fellow riders???
Thanks |

| First---what exactly is a biker's friend bag? Model specific for SilverWing? Or is this for cruiser? For me, carry lot's of junk/stuff including camping---E46 GIVI box, scooter's under- seat storage, GIVI humpbag. All are 100% waterproof except for humpbag----leaving for Alaska in the AM-----two Ortlieb rubber bags on passenger seat take care of the rest of luggage needs. Rubber cords keep them on----haven't had bag fall off since 1958! |

| My first thought was that its a bag you pee into so you don't have to stop riding... |

| There's a picture of one mounted on a Honda Helix on their web site. It looks like it would mount the same on a Silverwing. I have no experience with one myself. |

That bag that fell off in 1958 certainly wasn't an Ortlieb mate, the company wasn't founded until many years later in 1982. |

He had these bags way before the company even got started. I had a "Pocket Fisherman" back in the 50's way before they were invented. But I sat on it while it was in my pocket and had to go to the doctor to get the hook removed. My parents never told anybody about it because they said I was really stupid for sitting in it and that's why nobody invented it until years later. Yes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it... |

| Bag that fell off---AirForce B-4 Bag---Bike Maico Blizzard, 250---near Denver.
Went back and got bag.
Ride everyday and you carry lots of stuff over the years.
By the way----50's there were rubber bags---got two at MilitarySurplus store |

| " /> The image above is from their website. It looks like they are using "bungee cords" to keep it in place. |

| Thanks Dale. I saw these but unfortunately these don't give you a precise placement of the bungee or strap. I guess it will trial and error (hopefully no error). :-) |
