Loss of a friend

Just to let you know that my childhood friend has past away after a short illness, he was a regular on the Forum and known as "Foxy", I bought his black Silverwing off him last year as his wife did not get on with being a passenger on it and preffered the 3 Goldwings he had. He will be sorely missed by us all in our Band and will be a vacant slot in our ride-outs from now on. I salute you old friend & Vet.

Sorry to hear the bad news Pete. That isn't the same fellow that used to be on the Steve Saunders Goldwing site, he went by the same handle and had a riding mate who he called Helen the Viking is it?

Thank you, yes it was the very same man indeed. I spoke to Helen today and she has said that so many riders will be attending Pete's funeral.

I'll miss Foxy too. We both spent time on the Steve Saunders Goldwing forum. We had a Saunder's Goldwing Forum rally in Calhoun Georgia around 2008 where he and Helen attended. There was a auction for a set of Goldwing rider's pegs that he and I battled over that I beat him on. I told him I had 1700 miles to ride home and needed them more than he did. When I got home I shipped them to him as a gift. We used to correspond a good bit back then.

Your news is shocking and unexpected, I'll really miss Foxy too.

So so sorry for such a loss. ~ Sounds like Pete was a great guy, a good friend, and well respected.
