There once was a silverwing600 forum...

So last night around 23:00 GMT -6 I got some weird create a website website when I tried to access the forum. I guess the server was tired and napping or something. Obviously all is well again. for that.

I'm not sure what that could have been, but probably just a fluke. Although I used my super-genius computer skills and removed all of the money from all of the banking accounts of people who have visited the site in the last 3 years. I hope I don't have to pay taxes on it though.

I was getting the same thing- getting redirected to a "create your own forum" website. I think the culprit is the "free forum" in the lower left of this site!

It's possible that the host site was off line for maintenance. I've seen similar redirection on another forum.

I never noticed that free forum link before. That's what it was redirecting to though. It was probably the aliens messing with things.

I would hope Colin would have been notified if there was maintainance being done on the site.

The only name the host will have is that of the forum owner - the person who pays the fee doe the server space (not me). But I've never known of a host making contact prior to maintenance.

Hi,

I just went in and signed in as the owner and they site didn't notify us of any planned maintenance work. I wouldn't think that they would since it is usually very minor and they do provide the platform for thousands of sites around the world.
