| Lar man,
Welcome to the site and congrats on your SWing. I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot. If you plan to do any of your own maintenance there is a "Pictorial' section that will help you do quite a bit of it. |

| Welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. Is this your first scooter or just your first maxi scooter? Like Jeff said if you like to do your own maintenance you've come to the right place. The links below will tell you most anything you may want to know about your Silverwing. If you can't find what you need in them we have a pretty good search here and you can always just ask and someone will try to help. Also if you're going to do your own work on your new scooter I think a service manual is a must have. Sometimes you can find a used one on Ebay or any dealer can get one for you. Here are the links I was talking about. Maintenance, Tips and HintsMaintenance "Pictorials" Accessories-Modifications |

| Ah the things you can do until spring! Cleaning, polishing catching up on maintenance etc. If battery and tires are original, start there! Welcome aboard. |

| madwolf,
Not trying to divert from the OP but you should look at this trailer:
http://motorcycletrailer.com/tib/
Lar man,
Before you decide to modify your SWing you should read through the 'mod' section and than ask on the forum what they think of their mod. It may save you money.

JeffR , i think Madwolf is wanting a trailer to pull behind the wing not under it! |

| That's a nice looking trailer but I have a question. The video said it's a one man loading operation. Does the pocket that the front wheel sits in hold the bike up until you can secure it with straps? Or do you have to balance it while trying to secure the straps? It didn't show much of that in the video. |

| hotwings,
I guess I should have asked what he meant. I wonder who makes the hitches for them now. I think DennisB from this site used to make them.
Dale,
In the text of the trailer there is this line:
When the front wheel reaches the front wheel-stop, just turn the bike off, leave it in gear, put the kickstand down and lean it on the kickstand plate. |
