When we get on our wings we twist and go anywhere a motorcycle can go and at the same speed.
We have available to us windscreens so high we only feel a peripheral gentle breeze regardless of speed.
There is so much space in the step thru we never have to develop the thigh muscles necessary to keep our legs pinned against the gas tank. The wing is relatively effortless to drive.
There are multiple foot positions we can change to to change our riding posture.
A pleasure in every way, and with a few thousand dollars invested it can be a miniature Goldwing. A luxurious rolling couch.

Because the wing has all these advantages, anyone who has a swing as a first bike doesn't know they are advantages, until they are taken way.

I didn't know it until I bought a Honda NM4 on Wednesday.
I'll post the details in "Rides and Stories" soon.

Dan,

Congrats on your new bike. I can't wait to read about your new bike. Do you know about this site:

http://www.vultusforum.com/

I hear people enjoy their NM4 a lot.

Dan I hope you have a plot twist to your story, because it sounds like the plot is you're unhappy because your new bike doesn't have the advantages of the Silverwing. Sad  I'm hoping the plot twists and then in the next chapter you tell us the different advantages your new bike has and how happy you are with your purchase. Cool

Congratulations on your new bike. As a long time bike rider I couldn't make up my mind so decided to have it both ways. No-stress decision.

Jeff,
Yes I'm familiar with the forum, but thanks for looking out for me. Smile
Roger, I wasn't happy with the wing originally,
until I got the right windscreen and accessories.

My take is that there is no PERFECT bike,
if you start with a great bike, mods can make it perfect for you.

Dan

For sure, one size doesn't fit all.
