| Not sure if this is a design exercise on an integra 'scooter' or not, in the flesh it looks even weirder than it does in the photo, look at the price, limited edition or not its expensive!

| I have one. I love it. Get comments on it every time I ride. In the USA its only 11k USD which is about 4k GBP cheaper if I did my conversion right. I got mine brand new for under 10k USD. |

| John,
Chain maintenance is easy. I let the mechanic do it.

What's so difficult about chain maintainance? Even without a center stand. John you would know it takes about 5 minutes or less to maint. Its also an excellent time to check that rear tire, brakes, bearings and an overall lower visual inspection. |

| I have over one million miles motorcycle experience. Bottom line bike with no centertand and open chain=real pain. Just sold my TU250 Suzuki with no centertand and open chain=real pain on long days, didn't want the hassle. I have gotten great chain mileage in past, by.....lots of oil----My G500E Suzuki went 43,000 miles on OEM chain and sprockets. of course this bike had centerstand, so chain easy to oil----these miles included winter salt, trips to Mexico and Baja (sand) |

| Dan has one he loves. John doesn't have one he hates. That about covers it. My opinion; it's your money, ride what you want. |

| Just because the vultus doesn't come with a centerstand doesn't mean it can't have one. The bike actually has the place for it built into the frame.
On the forums for this bike is a procedure for adapting the centerstand for the Honda INTEGRA scooter for use on the Vultus. It will take a little bit to get the parts since the Integra is not sold in the USA, but I think its fair to say I have a good bit of experience with sourcing aftermarket and international parts. I don't think I'll be without a centerstand for long.
Also there is already a how-to tutorial for the bike on adding an automatic chain oiler. |

| John,
I have the CTX700 without a centerstand and I have no problem with oiling the chain. I oil what I can see after every other ride and by the time I ride 500 miles I have oiled the entire chain. I check for slack but it seems it stays the same and I have 6500 miles on it now. I will take it in to the shop for my 8,000 mile checkup and I will let them do what they think needs to be done. But so far the chain is still in great shape. Many people may not know this...but chains now a days are much nicer than chains in the 1970's. I did have chain trouble at times back then but I'm sure with all the technology we have developed since the 70's has also helped design a better chain.
On the ctx700 site I'm on people aren't replacing their sprockets and chains for 30,000 miles so I'm not too concerned. So far I'm extremely happy with the CTX and I'm sure Dan is just as happy with the NM4. They are great running bikes and the DCT is really makes this a very enjoyable bike to ride. |

I'd have thought with that experience you'd never have chosen a chain driven bike that isn't fitted with a centre stand, or at least a bike where you could fit a a centre stand as an extra or accessory. Because a centre stand is the key to essential and easy chain maintenance. |

I did. You're wording was clearly baiting JG, and since I had already backchanneled him and cautioned him not to say anything condescending, I had to level the playing field. I'm proud of John. He reiterated his point without putting others down. I'm sure you can too. |

| TU250---I bought knowing no centerstand, rode it 10,000 miles but not only chain maint. was pain---how about checking oil, working on bike, loading up for trip?? Money loss was not much BUT it was simple, good gas mileage and didn't break. Nice experience.....future no centerstand=no buy for me. |

| I haven't seen a 'Vultus' in the plastic so far. I really would prefer not having an open chain drive. My GT has a final chain drive but it runs in an oil bath which should make for a longer life. The GT also has a center stand as well. I would like to see a Vutus but so far I don't think it would be quite the bike for me due to the riding position which looks a bit Harley like. |
