I am 65 years old. I have been riding on two wheels since I was 17.
During that time I have owned 22 motocycles, my last was a 1995
Goldwing SE. I have shrunk and my Goldwing has gotten bigger,
to the point where I could no longer handle it. So I got a Silverwing,
and I love it!

welcome ScubaCat welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. Isn't it nice that we still have bikes that work for "older people". Wink
If you plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with the service manual and help from this forum.
I add the paragraph below for most new members because there's a lot of information in the links and may save you some work.
Here are some links(3 below in blue)that will help you learn a lot about your Silverwing. If you can't find what you need in the links below the search on this forum works good, and if you still need help just ask and someone will do what they can to answer your questions.

Hello and welcome ScubaCat Smile Your story is pretty common here. I'm a few years older than you and owned several models of the GW, my last being an '07. But age and arthritis has convinced me I'm safer and happier and definitely more comfortable on a Maxi Scooter. I've had two SWs and found them to be truly a bulletproof Honda much like the GW. Unfortunately I needed something that could carry me and the wife two up and the SW's payload was just a bit too low. So right now I'm enjoying my 2013 BMW C650GT scooter. Now that I'm down to the one scooter I might just have to find another SW as a stable mate for my current GT. It's nice to have two. Nice used SWs are pretty reasonable to come by.
