Seasonal Windshield Change Empty
PostSubject: Seasonal Windshield Change   Seasonal Windshield Change I_icon_minitimeTue Sep 15, 2009 7:59 pm

When I bought my bike back in February, I also bought a Givi Windscreen. I left the stock screen on all through the spring and the summer. Now that we've had a few cold mornings in the hills of northeast, TN, I decided it is time to put the GIVI on. I plan on leaving it on until it gets hot again in later spring and will then switch back to the stock screen. The GIVI does an excellent job of keeping the cold air of the hands and face and definitely improves lower temp range riding. But when summer hits, I want the air in my face (and bugs on my visor). Does anyone else switch out their screens seasonally or are you pretty much happy with one over the other?

When i first got my 2004 Swing i bought a clearview windshield. Not having a use for my original windshield i experimented and cut down it down to make a sporty short windshield. It came out well and looks good but for me there is way to much wind blast and noise. So i do sometimes change the windshield but normally i leave the
clearview one on. Below is a picture of the sporty style windshield i made.
