| Here are my videos that I posted on my YT channel showing what and how I made it happen.
I know most of you will not want to do something like this but I am one of those guys that likes different and I hated the yellow illumination on my 2011 SW and I really like my bike so I wanted to make it unique. I hope all that watch enjoy the videos showing my graduated progress.
Just note that I am going to do my bike next season and if you watch the videos you know what I mean by that statement.
Enjoy..

| Woo hoo !! Great videos.
Maybe you can figure out which pins will change the odo from MPH to KPH. It's been a long standing conundrum here given that the Meter CPU Board for Canada & the US are the same part number.
I've got a known-defective Meter CPU I've played with for several years along with the help of a wiring diagram I've had blown up to 23" x 36" at a local copy shop. What I did notice is that if you rapidly rub the LCD in the odo area that both the Km & Miles labels will display. I even got a copy of the Meter CPU board connections from a JDM model but haven't been able to determine any connection differences.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to more of your videos for the Meter CPU and LED changes

| Hmm! I like that challenge, I will take a further look at that later on, since I have a lot I can do with this dash panel. I Will be showing a video (Part 4) with the finished product then I will next season add the dash from my bike on a night ride showing how it looks, this has been really fun actually. Thank you for watching. |

| Don't know but could it be if they are the same that A. the sending unit is different or B. like a couple of my pesky trail cameras to change things you have to press and hold different buttons for a specific time AND in the correct sequence ?? >>>>>>>>Maybe you can figure out which pins will change the odo from MPH to KPH. | In one of those videos you questioned the HISS marking on the Meter CPU board. That circuit is for thr Honda Integrated Security System which functions with a chip key and is used in Europe.
One board, multiple configurations.
Regarding the odo display; if you were to ride away with the parking brake still ON the odo will not accumulate any miles DAMHIK. So evidentaly that parking brake light circuit also effects the odo.
Also to respond to OWG's speculations (above), the VSS unit at the rear wheel is the same for both Km and Miles scoots. I've tried every combination of button sequences and parking brake activation (even clicked my heels 3 times and said "There's no place like home") but, alas, no luck.
RJdoles, a memeber here, may be able to help. IIRC he worked at, or had connections with, the engineering dept at Honda's Goldwing plant in Marysville.
