Subject: LED Strip Tail Lights Mod with Flasher. Sun Feb 07, 2016 1:12 am
I purchased a package to flexible LED strips from WalMart and today added them to my Swing. At the same time I added a stop light flasher. WalMart has two different versions available. I got the less expensive one ($19) instead of the brighter more expensive set. figured I could always got brighter if needed. At the same time I also installed a stop light flasher.
They are not the prettiest but do the job. They are stick-on so can be removed and I still might move them to my top box. I also had the idea of putting them under the turn signal lens but couldn't figure a way to get them apart.
I made a video to show how well they work. The night part of the vid doesn't show the "fast flash"part very well but you can really see it in person. They could be a little brighter in the day but then that might make them too bright at night. Overall I'm happy with their operation.
