New member introduction

Hi everybody . My name is Alan sand I am from Essex UK .
On Saturday I take delivery of my brand new S/Wing .
I was a motorcyclist for many years but last year I bought a Forza 300 and was so impressed that i am changing to a s/wing .
I hope to get involved with the forum and look forward to calling on all you experienced owners for any info that I am sure to need .

Thanks for the welcome terrier and Bash on .
I really was impressed with the Forza ,but wanted something that would cope with motorway speeds and touring . The Honda dealer made me a good offer on the Forza and so we made the deal .
Can't wait until Saturday !! Alan

Yes Steve it will . You would think at 70 years old I would be old enough to not be excited over getting a new toy but I suppose it never goes away !
I have had the sw on order for a couple of months so it's been a long wait .

I am from Tennessee and just bought a 2004 Silverwing.I started riding with a Yamaha vstar1100,next was a 96 Goldwing after that I got a majesty 400 and today I got what I think is the best scooter out there. It is such an improvement compared to all the bikes I listed. I believe this will be the last bike that I will ever need as I am 68 years old and still riding hard, and I believe Honda makes the best.

Hi Alan,

I'm in Morecambe, North West UK and new here myself. I bought a 2006 S-Wing with 7.3k miles on it last weekend and today it's over 8.1k miles. Yep, I've been enjoying it and the fact that I can ride for hours without knee pain!

Hi everybody , once again thanks for all the welcomes . Well Saturday finally came and at 10 am I picked up the new sw . The dealership is approximately 8 miles from my home but somehow I clocked up 35 miles on the return trip . Since then it's been raining on and off continuously so haven't been able to have a really good play with the new ride ! I am on holiday on Wednesday for a couple of weeks so I have something to look forward to when I return home . I am planning a few days in Devon at the end of July , so that will be a good test . I am sure I won't be disappointed .
