| Check Kill Switch and side-stand before anything else.
Has the battery been readied for use properly - forming charge?

| Well I guess it will be my turn. We usually like a short introduction on a riders experience, how long have you been riding etc.As far as your concern about your S/W we need a little more information also. You say it wont start, has a new battery.Does this mean that it turns over, has it been setting for a long time, are you the the original owner. We need a few more symptoms of the problem, just like going to the doctor. The most popular item on a no start is failure to squeeze the left brake lever to complete the starter circuit. Let us know your progress. Howard |

| Thanks for your post Doc. However this topic is 9 months old.
Hey, why not introduce yourself in the, um, Introduction section. Tell us something about yourself and your Silverwing.

| I once had a stall problem that could easily have become a 'no start' problem. As it turned out, when replacing the right-side bottom panel, one of the connectors to the ignition coil have become loose and hanging on by a thread. If the connector was dislodged while removing/replacing the right-side bottom panel, a connector might have come loose.
In that this post is 9 months old, I would imagine that you've solved the 'no start' problem. Do let us know how things went.

| A new battery doesn't guarantee it´s ok. I bought a brand new Yuasa battery that turned out to be faulty. Got my money back. |
