| Greetings, all. Having an issue with the left front body panel rattling and vibrating at certain engine speeds. Is this a recognized issue with SWings? If you have had this problem, how did you resolve it?
Thanks in advance for your responses! |

| How long has this been going on? removed and replaced any body panels as of late? Check the pin grommets first, maybe something in a cubby or under the seat? |

| Left front? The entire front end is one piece --with the exception of the windshield garnish panel. I've noticed that, on several Silverwings, the mounting tabs securing the floor skirt to the lower part of the front panel have broken. In my particular case, and what caught my attention, was that the vibration went away when I put additional foot pressure on the upper section of the rubber mat.
Broken tabs and mounts seem to be inevitable with tupperware bikes. The soultion is to repair those broken pieces with "Plast Aid". Of course that will necessitate removing the offending panel or two.
But before you do that, as OWG suggests, check the cubbys for loose junk ratteling around. Or get out the duct tape and try taping panel seams to see if you can isolate the source if the rattle. My 2¢.

If you use them to eliminate rattles try to purchase the stainless steel variety. |

| Turns out most of the tabs on the front body panel were broken. Replaced it....not cheap....but working fine now. |

It is always nice to hear the problem was solved and how. The popular word these days is "closure". Your final note on this gives is all closure, bob ! Thanks!! |
