The music in the promo video makes me want to try 'em! I always call Dr. Pulley "voodoo parts" and have never believed in them myself but I have friends who swear by them and get good results. Also, I hear that some manufacturers use Dr. Pulleys as their OEM roller/slider. Someone needs to try those TechPulleys!

In a few days it'll be September, 'the nights will be fair drawing in' as we say up North, and a few weeks later it'll be the end of the riding season for many. The Silver Wing will go back under wraps and it'll be months of posts from those wishing they could be out riding.
So at the end of this year will anyone really be happier knowing they've spent the year farkling away with go faster bits that to be honest the Silver Wing doesn’t really need.
When instead they could have spent the time and money riding to faraway places with strange sounding names. Like me, I'm going to a French city named Reims next week and I can't even pronounce it correctly.

I found that clip months ago mate, but even when I do my best, no one knows where I'm on about. So if I say 'Reems!‘ they go OK, it's that city with the big cathedral in the Champagne region.

Hi Meldrew, if you have transport while in Reims look out for the old Reims Grand Prix circuit. The finishing straight and pits etc. are on the D26 west of the city if they haven't fallen down since I visited some years ago !

Thanks, I have transport, I'm going there from Zeebrugge on my Forza for a poke around the area before Brexit kicks in. I'll have a look out if Derek the Garmin sat nav voice decides to send me along that way.

Thanks bud, there's quite a few YouTube clips on the old Riems-Gueux race track and I've watched a couple, Having done so, and being perfectly honest the place doesn’t hold much interest for me.
Although if by chance I was riding past the place, I might stop and take a few photos on my iPhone.

Back to the subject of thread, It looks to me that the little flap might wear thin pretty quickly. The little side tab looks pretty fragile too. It might be okay on a lower powered scooter but I'd be afraid of rapid wear on them with a Silver Wing.

I had a good slider today. It was at Arby's, a roast beef slider au jus.

Let me shine some light into the dark of the ThechPulleys. I have had the original Pulleys for a lot of years and they practically do not wear (pics to prove) For my SW i ordered 8x26g TechPulleys and - They are the same only TNG (the next generation) - The easy breakable looking flap looks quite different in real life and will not break under any circumstances - the 2 little side wings are installation helpers, some people put the Pulleys in the wrong way, that is now not longer possible, also the 2 little wings can be cut off without any problem.

So then is it that if the TechPulley wings are removed then you have the same sliding weights as Dr Pulley sliding weights? If so then what is the price difference between Dr Pulley weights and TechPulley weights? What is the advantage of TechPulley weights vs. Dr Pulley weights?

Tim, it is the same product and principle. Dr.Pulley was the original design and company. The Son of the founder wanted to do some modifications to address certain problems (flipping sliders). The father wanted to stay with the original design, so the son founded a new company to sell his improved design. And no, you still have the little ramp in front and a bit different bottom design.
I do extreme things with the Pulleys because they are made to last. For the normal user there will be not much noticeable difference. The big difference is in the weight and how many Sliders you put in: 8, 6 or just 4 or if your 4 slider setup is still a bit heavy and you drill holes into the metal to go from 21g to 19g.
My setup for a 500cc Piaggio engine optimized for extreme mountain climbing and steep hairpin turns. Setup for 2 persons and 400 kg overall weight. Works very well.

Thank you for that information.
What size & what weight TechPulley sliders would replace the original Honda weights for the SW-T400?

My information was not complete. Junior is the engineer behind the original SR roll (the standard Dr. Pulley you all know) and the HIT clutch. And he developd now the TNG Sliders. So you buy from the same brain. Regarding to the wights I will make an extra post to explain the differences.
