Here is a nice photo of Scootypuff Snr’s Silverwing having recently been ridden there by Dr Who.

Wrong type of box Timothy, that's and old AA (Automobile Association) telephone box back from when Membership included a key to access these boxes to call AA Roadside Assistance. There were also similar blue RAC (Royal Automobile Club) ones.  

It used to be a uniformed AA bloke riding a motorbike and sidecar back in the day, and all that is now a thing of past when everyone has a mobile/cell phone and the bloke comes in a van or recovery truck.

Dr Who's Tardis is a Police phone box from around the same time when your local Bobby could make calls to his station, or if wandering around on his beat and saw the blue light flashing on top knew there was a incoming call for him to answer. This was of course before our Police or motoring organisations had radios.

There was also a more basic type of Police telephone box which looked like a large bollard with the telephone inside a locked box and the same blue lamp on top. I remember one from my childhood that was very near where I got the bus to school.

I couldn't help noticing the back end of that Silver Wing looks rather scruffy too.

Where that box is? The one nearest me is near Aysgarth, North Yorkshire. They have all long since been decommissioned so the remaining ones are usually grade 2 listed buildings.

It's on the A149 at Brancaster Staithe in Norfolk, originally located further along the coast road at Burnham Norton crossroad box #530
