So the Swing has been on a Battery Tender since winter, trapped in the garage. We have a 05 Subaru Baja that's blocking the garage exit and the car won't start. No ones driven it for 3 months and the battery died. Won't hold a charge dead. I finally got permission (wifes old car) to find it a new home. As soon as its gone I can get the trike out and start riding it again. I did the services recently (oil/filter, brake fluid and reduction box oil) and its ready to ride, just need the dead weight car gone so I can get the Swing out. I think the best option for the car is donate it. I watch enough PBS/WHRO to consider them.

Sell it and make some $$. People are stupid crazy over those Baja's. Don't give it away advertise it and they will come $$ in hand. Look up used value and go from there. Battery not that much starts and moves get more for it. MY 2$

I say it all depends if you need the money. Donating an old vehicle is a good option, you can deduct it from your taxes and you’ll feel better about making public TV get more programming. If you need the money sell it, either way is a good way to get it out of your garage.

Deduct from taxes yeah but nothing like cash in hand no taxes there. Deductions never equal a good return.
