| I' ve just changed the belt in my SW, so during the ride the sound of the engine is different comparing with this before service. Is that normal? |

| I don't think my belt change made the SW sound any different? Is it when you are just starting the bike from a stop and you hear a squeaking sound? |

Can you be a little more specific about the noise change. What are you hearing / not hearing now that was going on before? At what RPM? Hammy doesn't notice any noise difference because he never travels at less than 60 mph and at that velocity whatever noises are going on are well behind him |

| It sounds like a whistle and appears when I reach the velocity of about 60km/h (I dont know: 40-45 miles?). |

| You could have an air leak of some sort that may not be engine related. It could be related to eliminate your helmet/visor. You may try to raise the visor when the noise appears or turn your head. If the noise goes away...
You may have air entry holes in your body work that allows a venturi to form and the whistle will follow. |

| Probably it's not related to the engine itself but I tried to eliminate the "external sources" of that noise. I have got one more idea : I' ve bought my scoot beeing used by some people before and It's probably not so ideal I would like it to be. I think - any micro-damages in plastics may cause such a sound? |

| Biologist,
Does the noise continue and / or change pitch at speeds above 60kph? |

| I'd have to agree with Biologist that the bike sounded different after my honey's '03 had it's combined 12/16K service, w/ belt change. The engine "whine" sounded sooo much better and the "note" was deeper and smoother.
Since it was after a service, unless you see oil or some other fluid leaking onto the ground, I'd just appreciate it and move on. Any bike always sounds better after a service. |

| (cit) Does the noise continue and / or change pitch at speeds above 60kph? Unfortunately yes - up to 100 kph - I didn't ride faster beacuse I'm still learning to use it |
