Had the shop resync my air/fuel mixture (throttle stops)

I had the shop 're-sync' the throttle stops, or what I thought was the fuel/mixture screws today. It took one hour and they were able to get me in when I walked in.

I tried to adjust my idle last year but made the mistake to turn one of the screws for the mixture. When I found out about the mistake I tried to estimate the number of times I turned the screw and tried to reverse it. I did notice my mpg's go down after I messed with these screws so I'm curious to see if it goes back to where it was.

I was getting in low 50's to mid 50's and then it was very high 40's after the mistake. Iwill see what I start getting now. They thought it would be a 2 hour job but I didn't think it would take that long since everything is right there once a black panel is removed.
