When the bike slows down from say 35 miles per hour. When it hits about 10 MPH the handlebars start to vibrate and shake a bit. Could it be Bearings in the front wheel? THX in advance.

Could be, but probably not. From what I've read, this is not unusual. I don't know the intensity of the vibration, but if you enter "vibration" into the search function, you will find quite a few listings on this topic.

THX HI-YO, The shaking come when I let go of the handle-bars when slowing down. I did it to check the alignment and such. Also when I turn abruptly , say to avoid a pot-hole the front wheel seems to shift to one side or the other. This is a great forum. Thanks for being here all!

| De-cel wobble/handlebar movement. Common two wheel thing.
There is no "alignment" on SilverWing---wheels are in fixed position.
Common causes in my experience--tires/Steering head bearing adjustment/ loads on rear that are too heavy and high/ if bike is normal by service manual-----then probably owner should not take hands off bars! 10 year old bikeprobably hard to figure out its use and maint. history. other mods?

You may check your tire pressure, made sure is correct.I put my 27 PSI,when my front tire below 23PSI,my front wheel feel like your feeling, the wheel move side by side.Rear wheel I put 31-32 PSI.Try it to see what different.
