Second time bad news

Hi all. Those of you who have been part of this forum for more that a few years might remember that I lost my son to cancer.

Last night, my wife passed on as well.

I'm definitely suffering from writer's block as I write this.

I am so sorry for your loss. From experience I know that eventually the pain will lessen. Keep the memory of your loved ones near to your heart. Surround yourself with family and friends. Your wife and son are now together watching over you. God Bless.

Jon, I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my wife last August. The pain doesn't go away but it does get tolerable, if that's the right word. With the help of my family and friends I'm surviving waiting for God to show me His purpose for me. Songs and places we liked do tear me up sometimes. But life HAS to go on even though it does suck to wake up alone.

Yes, it is so sad... I will say a prayer for you and your family. My second wife lost her son some time before we met plus we both lost our spouses to the dreaded cancer. But take solace in that they are together and with the Lord now.
