I've finally been able to get a few 100 miles in my "new to me" SWing. One thing I noticed is that the stock windshield is pretty useless so I wanted to change that out. After asking for advice most everyone praised the Givi Airflow. A bit more reading here and I found out that the Kappa KAF214 is the same windshield. I was able to locate a seller on eBay from Italy that had them for $159 including shipping. I had purchased a Givi topcase from Italy before and had no problem so I decided to go for it.
I got it yesterday and it took 13 days to get here. I took on the project to install it today. Once I had the front tupperware removed it appeared that an Airflow had at one time been installed as the holes were already drilled in the tupperware. That made things go a lot easier. About 30 minutes later the Kappa KAF214 was installed. I haven't had a chance to try it out but will be able to today on my way to work.
The Kappa appears to be the same as the Givi branded windshield. The only difference is the Kappa logo instead of the Givi. I was going to post a link to the auction but searching now only shows the same screen at about $20 more.... still a decent savings over the Givi. Just search for "kappa kaf214" to find sellers.
